Raymond H. Johnson,41,of 14719 Parksdale,Woodbridge,Va.,formerly of Monessen,died Sunday,Nov.3,1991,at Potomac Hospital,Woodbridge. He was born Sept. 30,1950,in North Charleroi,a son of Leon V. Johnson Sr.and Marie E. Watkins Johnson of Monessen. Mr. Johnson had been employed with the District of Columbia Department of Corrections as a corrections officer. A 1987 honors graduate of the Institute of Security Tech as a security specialist,he had worked as a pipelayer for 17 years at Gerald Vitale Inc. in Charleroi. Mr. Johnson was a member of Antioch Baptist Church,Belle Vernon,and Anthony E. Madison American Legion Post 704,Monessen. He was a decorated Vietnam veteran,having served in the U.S.Marine Corps. In addition to his parents,survivors include his wife, Marguerite Haten Johnson;one son, William A. (Peachy) Johnson,serving with the U.S. Air Force in Germany;two daughters, Raenetta L.and Aneisha J. Johnson,both at home; a brother, Leon V. Johnson Jr.of Monessen;his maternal grandmother,Esther Burks of Belle Vernon;many other relatives and friends. Friends will be received Friday from 2 to 9 p.m. in Antioch Baptist Church,Highland and Henry streets, Belle Vernon,where services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Luther Wormack officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Percy E. Law Jr. Funeral Home,Donora,is in charge of arrangemetns.
