Obituary

Raymond E.Deutsch of 1545 Walter St.,Monongahela,died Monday,May 25,1987,at 4:40 p.m.in Mercy Hospital,Pittsburgh. He was 72. Mr.Deutsch was born July 10,1914,in Belleville,Ill.,a son of the late Mr.and Mrs.John Deutsch. A former North Charleroi resident,he had lived in Monongahela the past 12 years. Mr.Deutsch retired in 1980 from Fisher Body Plant. He was a veteran of World War II,having served in the U.S.Army. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife,Ann Morgart Deutsch,May 26,1975,two brothers,Robert and Frank Deutsch,and one sister,Stella Weber. Survivors include one daughter,Mrs.Richard (Joanne) Evans of Liverpool,England,one stepson,Richard Morgart of Monessen,two stepdaughters,Joyce Vizza of Napa,Calif.,and Doris Menard of Oxnard,Calif.,one brother,Cardell Deutsch of Ofallon,Ill,one sister,Elsie Bowers of Los Angeles,Calif.,one grandson,Matthew Evans of Liverpool,England,a dear friend,Elizabeth Yercic of Monongahela,and nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.in the Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral Home,700 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon,where services will be held Saturday,May 30,at 11 a.m.with the Rev.Thomas St.Clair,pastor of the First United Methodist Church of Belle Vernon,officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Shelby D.Ferguson,funeral director,is in charge of arrangements.
