Raymond C.Sterner;69;of 204 Fourth St.;North Belle Vernon;died Monday;April 19;1976 at 1:23 a.m.in the Charleroi Division of Mon Valley Hospital. He was born July 3;1906 in Rostraver Twp.;the son of the late Clarence Ostin and Coral Mae Hess Sterner. He was a life-long Belle Vernon area resident. Mr.Sterner was a former electrician with American Window Glass Co.and Corning Glass Works;Charleroi. He was a life-long member of the First Christian Church;Belle Vernon. Survivors include his wife;Amy May Hamitt Sterner;two sons;Melvin L.of Belle Vernon and Clifford W.of Rostraver Twp.;five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. A brother;Norman E.Sterner;preceded him in death. Friends will be received at the Leonard J.Parzynski Funeral Home;626 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon;Tuesday and Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday April 22;1976 until 2 p.m.;when services will be held at the funeral home;the Rev.Gerald Dye officiating and the Rev.James W.Grant assisting.
