Ray Thomas Haywood, 14, of Dunlevy, was drowned on Friday,June 9, 1967, at 2:30 p.m. He was born in North Charleroi on June 22,1952. He would have been a ninth grade student in Charleroi area schools in September. He was a member of Evangelical United Brethren Church in Dunlevy. Surviving are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas M. Haywood, Dunlevy; two brothers, Norman W., Perryopolls, Daniel F. at home; a sister, Sharon Lee, at home; maternal grandmother, Mrs. Leona Bissiere, Charleroi. Friends will be received at the Shelby D. Ferguson Funeral Home, Belle Vernon after 7 p.m., June 10. Funeral services will be held Monday, June 12, at 1:30 p.m. from the funeral home, with the Rev. William West of the Evangelical United Brethren Church, Dunlevy, officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Shelly D. Ferguson, funeral director.
