Ralph R.Destefano Sr.;79;of 1307 Walnut Ave.;Monessen;died Friday;Sept.15;1972;at 9:40 p.m.in the Charleroi Division of Mon Valley Hospital;Inc. He was a member of St.Cajetan R.C.Church;Monessen;and its Holy Name Society and was a charter member of the Monessen Knights of Columbus. He was a Monessen resident the past 62 years and reitred in 1958 as assistant postmaster of the Monessen Post Office. His wife;Rose M.Destefano;preceded him in death on Aug.18 of this year. Also preceding him in death were two brothers;Joseph and Albert. Surviving are three sons;Frank and Ralph Jr.;both of Monessen and Donald of Charleroi;one daughter;Mrs.George (Marie) Vogel of Pittsburgh;12 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren;three brothers;Samuel Sr.and James Sr.;both of Monesen;and John of Pittsburgh;and two sisters;Mrs.Rose Laneve of Newell;W.Va.;and Mrs.Margaret Caterino of Monessen. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.Saturday and Sunday at the Dalfonso Funeral Home;Monessen;where a Rosary will be recited Sunday at 8 p.m.and a Blessing service will be held Monday;Sept.18;at 9:30 a.m.followed by Mass of Resurrection at 10 a.m.at St.Cajetan R.C.Church;Monessen;with the Rev.P.Lino Ramellini;pastor;officiating.
