Ralph Thompson, aged 53 years, died suddenly Monday, June 8,1942, at 7:30 a. m. at his home, 1006 Fifth street, East McKeesport, of a heart attack. A former resident of Brownsville, he was a member of the Presbyterian Church, East McKeesport, the Masonic Blue lodge of Brownsville and No. 164 Royal Arch Chapter. For some time he has been employed as manager of the Weber Hardware store in McKeesport. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Thompson and a son, Ralph, Jr., at home. Three sisters also survive, Mrs. Elta Morgan, Hookstown; Mrs. Helen Hayes, Smith Ferry; Mrs. Mildred Radish, Cleveland. Friends are being received at the home of a sister-in-law, Mrs. S. L, Griffith at Speers,where funeral services will be held Wednesday,June 10,at 2 p.m. Rev. D. Lester Say,pastor of the Presbyterian Church at East MeKeesport,will preside. Interment in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Charles L.and Edwin F. Melenyzer,undertakers in charge.
