Rachel Breakwell Szymansky of the Belle Vernon Apartments died Monday;Dec.30;1985;at 10:45 a.m.in the Haven Crest Nursing Home;Carroll Township. She was 83. Mrs.Szymansky was born Sept.1;1902;in Washington Township;a daughter of the late John and Harriet Cramer Jackson. She was a member of Marion Presbyterian Church;Fairhope. Mrs.Szymansky had been a Belle Vernon are resident most of her llife. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband;Frank Breakwell;1955;and by her second husband;Walter A.Szymansky;1976. Survivors include one son;Franklin R.Breakwell of Belle Vernon;four daughters;Doris McGrath of Port Royal Village;Belle Vernon;Mrs.Victor (Ruth) Sebesta of Endicott;N.Y.;Mrs.John (Phyllis) Crea of Belle Vernon and Mrs.Wade (Mary Jane) Roe of Tuscaloosa;Ala.;13 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Friends will be received Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral Home;700 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon;where services will be held Thursday;Jan.2;at 11 a.m. with the Rev.Mary Howard;pastor of Marion Presbyterian Church;officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Shelby D.Ferguson;funeral director;is in charge of arrangements.
