Pietro Bitonti, 76 of 523 Main street, Belle Vernon,died Friday, December 16,1949 in the Charleroi-Monessen hospital. He was a retired coal miner. He is survived by five sons, Tony and John,barbers in Belle Vernon, Dominic,also of Belle Vernon,Louis and Joseph of Cleveland and four daughters,Mrs. Mary Zema of Belle Vernon,Mrs. Catherine Cooper of Monongahela,Mrs. Rose Charseky of Hollywood, Calif,and Mrs Theresa Amoroso of Fort Collins, Colo. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sarafina Bitonti. Friends are being received at the Toner Funeral Home,Belle Vernon,where funeral services will be at 2 p.m. December 19. The Rev. Fr. Francis Martin,pastor of St. Sebastian R.C.Church,will officiate. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
