Peter Leonard Barrett, 38,of 827 Meldon avenue, Donora, a member of the Franco-Belge Beneficial Society of Monessen and well-known here, died suddenly at 6:40 p.m.Tuesday night, December 28,1937 in his home,of cerebral hemorrhage. Mr. Barrett worked Thursday at the Allenport plant of the Pittsburgh Steel Company,where he was employed and became ill on Christmas Day. Mr. Barrett resided at Lock 4 for a number of years and moved to Donora two and a half years ago. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Ann Rosh Barrett; one son,Donald,10 months old,both at home;two sisters,Mrs. Jane Vanniere of Weirton, W. Va., and Mrs. Rose Mayernik,of Lock 4,and one brother,Alexander Barrett of Weirton, W.Va. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in his home followed by interment in the Belle Vernon Cemetery.
