Phyllis Crea,68,of 215 Edith St., Belle Vernon,died Saturday,Sept. 26,1998,at 9:55 a.m. in her home. Born Aug. 19,1930,in Fairhope,she was a daughter of the late Franklin and Rachel Jackson Breakwell. Mrs. Crea was a member of Marion Presbyterian Church,Fairhope. A lifelong resident of Fairhope,she was a past member and president of the former VFW Post 3557 Ladies Auxiliary. She had been a self-employed hairdresser for over 30 years. In addition to her parents,she was preceded in death by a sister, Doris McGrath in 1987. Survivors include her husband of 47 years,John L. Crea; two daughters and one son-in-law,Susan and Ray Wozniak of Belle Vernon and Joni Crea of Belle Vernon;one son and daughter-in-law,John F. and Becky Crea of West Newton;one brother, Franklin Robert Breakwell of Belle Vernon;two sisters, Ruth Sebesta of Endicott,N.Y. and Mary Jane Roe of Coker,Ala.;and two grandchildren,John Lawrence Crea II and Christa Lynne Crea. Friends will be received Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Ferguson Funeral Home Inc.,700 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon,where services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. with the Rev.Jjohn C. Park,pastor of Marion Presbyterian Church,officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Ferguson Funeral Home Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
