Philomena Marasco of 20 Sampson St.;Belle Vernon;died Thursday;Nov.11;1982;at 3:50 p.m.in the Mon Valley Hospital.  She was 93.  Mrs.Marasco was born Oct.20;1889 in Cosenza;Italy;a daughter of the late John and Rosa Paluso Rouggieri.  A member of St.Sebastian Church;she had been a resident of Belle Vernon since 1912.  In addition to her parents;she was preceded in death by her husband;Frank Marasco on June 14;1960;and a daughter;Rose Checchi on Dec.10;1963.  Survivors include two sons;D.Chester Marasco of Belle Vernon and John Marasco at home;five daughters;Mrs.Joseph (Mary) Spina of Belle Vernon;Mrs.Bruno (Margaret) Duronio of Monessen;Mrs.Theresa Menzel of Uniontown;Mrs.Harry (Pepper) Jarouse of Belle Vernon R.D.and Gilda Marasco at home;three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.  Friends will be received in the Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral Home;700 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon;on Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m.and Sunday from 1 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.  A Prayer service will be held on Monday;Nov.15;at 9:30 a.m.in the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m.in St.Sebastian Church.  Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.  Shelby D.Ferguson;funeral director;is in charge of arrangements.
