Phillip Michael Seman; 60; of Belle Vernon; Washington Township; died Thursday; Aug. 29; 2013; at 8:35 a.m. peacefully in his sleep; surrounded by his loving and devoted family. Born Nov. 5; 1952; in North Charleroi; he was the son of the late George Sonny Seman Jr. and Frances Malinowsky Seman of Belle Vernon; Washington Township; with whom he made his home. A lifelong resident of Washington Township; Phillip was a member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church. Phillip was truly a special gift to his family and friends and taught them life’s most important lessons of love; laughter; living in the moment and giving joy in his special ways. He loved holidays and snowflakes and falling leaves; Santa and his elves; records and milkshakes; cookies and balloons; and most of all hugs and kisses from his loving mother who cared for him with insurmountable devotion. Phillip will be deeply missed by all who knew him. In addition to his mother; he is survived by three sisters; Francine Mendicino; Mary B. Seman; and Annie Cowen all of Belle Vernon; five nephews; Jason Mendicino and wife; Steffanie; Domenic Mendicino; Michael Mendicino and wife; Nicole; Joseph Mendicino and wife; Jemma; Daniel Mendicino and wife; Vanessa; Justin Cowen; four nieces; Jennifer Cowen; Jessica Cowen; Anne Marie Cowen; Frances Cowen; 10 great-nieces and nephews; and many loving aunts; uncles; cousins and friends. Visitation will be held 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at the PARZYNSKI FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATIONS; Family Owned and Operated; 626 Broad Ave.; Belle Vernon; 724-929-6183. Prayer service will be held 9 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home followed by funeral Mass at 9:30 a.m. at St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church with the Rev. Msgr. Roger A.
