Peter Turik of Cook St.Ext.;Fayette City;died Saturday;February 27;1960;at 5:06 p.m.in the Charleroi-Monessen Hospital.  Born in Czechoslovakia;Oct.11;1881;he was a retired steel worker;having worked at the Monessen plant of Pittsburgh Steel Co.  He was a member of the Holy Trinity Russian Orthodox Church;Charleroi.  Survivors include his wife;Susan;three sons;Charles of Charleroi and Nick and John of Fayette City;three daughters;Mrs.Matthew (Susanna) Kozor of Brownsville;Mrs.Michael (Mary) Wineck of Fayette City and Mrs.John (Anne) Badini of Monongahela;five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.  Friends are being received at the McCrory Funeral Home;Fayette City;where funeral services will be held Tuesday;March 1;at 10 a.m.;with the Rev.Gregory Soroka;pastor of Holy Trinity Russian Orthodox Church;Charleroi;officiating.  Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.  George M.McCrory & Son;funeral director.
