Obituary

Peter Pasterick, aged thirty years,of Brown Street, North Belle Vernon,died at Charleroi-Monessen hospital at 6:15 o'clock,Thursday evening, June 19,1941,within the day that he drove his car to the hospital where he was intent on having a surgical operation performed. He was employed at the American Glass and Wire Company mill in Donora,and had a number of acquaintances in Charleroi and Donora. He is said to have driven to the hospital early Thursday and arranged for the operation,death intervening at 6:15 p.m.   He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Pasterick of Donora,and his wife,Magdalene of North Belle Vernon,as well as three brothers,John, Michael and Paul Pasterick and a sister, Anna.  Friends are being received at the late home until time for funeral services at 10 o'clock Monday morning,June 23,in St. Michael's Catholic Church,Donora.  Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.  C.L. and Edwin Melenyzer are the funeral directors.
