Obituary

Peter Mckosky of 319 Graham St.,Belle Vernon,died Saturday,Sept.7,1985,at 5:15 a.m. in the Guardian Angels Nursing Home,Carmichaels. He was 85. Born Jan.1,1900,in Buffalo,N.Y.,he was a son of the late Peter and Constance Scarletina McKosky Sr. Mr.McKosky was a Mon Valley resident for most of his life and a member of Holy Resurrection Orthodox Church of Belle Vernon. He retired in 1965 as a conductor for the Monessen Southwestern Railroad. In addition to his parents,he was preceded in death by a brother,Frank McKosky and two sisters,Ann and Nell. Surviving are his wife,Anna Grabania McKosky,three sons,Donald McKosky of Belle Vernon,Peter McKosky of Perryopolis and Gerald McKosky at home,three daughters,Mrs.Ignatz (Doris) Madlenk of Belle Vernon,Mrs.Joseph (Norma) Trona of Donora and Mrs.Ruth O'Leary of Belle Vernon,a brother,Theodore McKosky of South Carolina,two sisters,Mrs.Veronica Marcusus of Florida and Mrs.Helen Simken of New York,15 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Friends will be received Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Leonard J.Parzynski Funeral Home,626 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon. Services will be held Monday morning. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Leonard J.Parzynski Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
