Peter Mckosky of 319 Graham St.;Belle Vernon;died Saturday;Sept.7;1985;at 5:15 a.m. in the Guardian Angels Nursing Home;Carmichaels. He was 85. Born Jan.1;1900;in Buffalo;N.Y.;he was a son of the late Peter and Constance Scarletina McKosky Sr. Mr.McKosky was a Mon Valley resident for most of his life and a member of Holy Resurrection Orthodox Church of Belle Vernon. He retired in 1965 as a conductor for the Monessen Southwestern Railroad. In addition to his parents;he was preceded in death by a brother;Frank McKosky and two sisters;Ann and Nell. Surviving are his wife;Anna Grabania McKosky;three sons;Donald McKosky of Belle Vernon;Peter McKosky of Perryopolis and Gerald McKosky at home;three daughters;Mrs.Ignatz (Doris) Madlenk of Belle Vernon;Mrs.Joseph (Norma) Trona of Donora and Mrs.Ruth O’Leary of Belle Vernon;a brother;Theodore McKosky of South Carolina;two sisters;Mrs.Veronica Marcusus of Florida and Mrs.Helen Simken of New York;15 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Friends will be received Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Leonard J.Parzynski Funeral Home;626 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon. Services will be held Monday morning. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Leonard J.Parzynski Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
