Obituary

Peter Angelo Consonery of Charleroi R.D. 2 died Monday,Oct.4,1976 in Montefiore Hospital,Pittsburgh. He was born Aug.16,1916 in Napoleonville,La.,a son of the late Angelo and Jacquine Consonery. Mr.Consonery was employed as a steelworker at Monessen plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp.and was a member of United States Steel Workers local 2698. Survivors include his widow,Barbara Bush Consonery,three daughters,Mrs.Earl (Barbara) Henderson Miller of Charleroi R.D.,Mrs.Bartholomew (Patricia) Piccardo of Washington,Pa and Mrs.Carroll (Jacqueline) VanNort of Alexandria,Va. Also surviving are three brothers,Joseph of Charleroi,Wilbur of Charleroi R.D.,and Philip of Belle Vernon R.D.,five sisters,Mary O'Toole of Monessen,Mrs.Guy (Beatrice) Fazzoni of Chicago,Ill.,Mrs.Jack (Rose) Winfield of Charleroi,Anna Consonery and Mrs.Ellis (Jane) Semich,both of Alexandria,Va.,10 grandchildren,and one great-grandchild. Friends will be received at the Carl J.Spallino Funeral Home,819 Fallowfield Ave.,Charleroi,from 7 to 9 p.m. and from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday. Services will be held Thursday at 2:30 p.m. at the funeral home with Rev.George Kennedy,of Grace Methodist Church,officiating. Intement will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions be made to the American Cancer Society through the funeral home. The Carl J.Spallino Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
