He was born June 29;1918;in Donora;a son of the late Rev.Major and Carrie Wright Parrish. He was a retired employee of Montefiore Hospital in Pittsburgh. A graduate of Donora High School with the Class of 1938;Mr.Parrish was a veteran of World War II. He was a member of Post 695 of the American Legion in Donora and the Monongahela Valley Lodge 208 of the IBPOE of W. Mr.Parrish is survived by his wife;Mrs.Crystal Parrish of Detroit;Mich.;his step-mother;Mrs.Sophie Parrish of Belle Vernon;two daughters;Mrs.Susan Dyer of Detroit;Mich.and Sgt.Doreen E.Parrish with the U.S.Air Force in Vietnam;two brothers;Herbert Parrish of Pittsburgh and James Locker of New York;three sisters;Mrs.C.Dolores Parrish Lane of Belle Vernon;Mrs.Ophelia Dickerson of Monessen;and Joan Locker in the state of California;three grandchildren and numerous other relatives and friends. Friends will be received at the Percy E.Law Jr.Funeral Home;1324 Meldon Ave.;Donora;from 7 to 9 p.m.Sunday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.Monday.
