Obituary

Pearl Leasure Story,74,of Gibsonton,Belle Vernon R.D.2,died in Charleroi-Monessen Hospital on Wednesday,Oct.17,1962,at 1:45 p.m. A life-long resident of this area,she was a member of the First Methodist Church of Belle Vernon. Surviving are a son,John D.at home,four daughters,Mrs.James (Dorothy) Steffey of West Newton,Mrs.William (Thelma) McNeil of Pittsburgh,Mrs.Thomas (June) Leone of Monessen,Mrs.Dale (Betty) Williams of Gibsonton,one brother,Ben of Warner,Va,,three sisters,Mrs.Belle Wineland of Bentleyville,Mrs.Susan Wineland of Logan,W.Va.,and Mrs.Edna Booth of Roanoke,Va.,eighteen grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Edwin Melenyzer Funeral Home,Monessen,after 7 p.m. Oct.18. Visiting hours will then be 1 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. Funeral services at the funeral home Saturday,Oct.20,at 2 p.m.with the Rev.E.W.Lighthall,pastor of the First Methodist Church of Belle Vernon,in charge.
