Pearl Owens Waggett of Gastonville died Wednesday;April 19;1978 in Monongahela Division of Mon Valley Hospital. She was 82. Born Feb.10;1896 in Alverton;Pa.;she was a daughter of the late David and Minnie Endeman Kennedy. She was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy of New Eagle. Mrs.Waggett is survived by one son;Thomas Owens of Gastonville;with whom she made her home;two daughters;Ruth Anchondo of Ford City and Thelma Masten of Coal Center;three sisters;Henrietta Sharrer of Belle Vernon;Josephine Buccolo of Jersey City;N.J.;Flossie Molinatto of Hammond;Ind.;five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren;several step-children. She was preceded in death by her husband;Albert Waggett;in 1964. Friends will be received in the Walter L.Kennedy Funeral Home;3560 Washington Ave.;Finleyville on Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m.and Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be held at the funeral home Saturday at 1 p.m.;with the Rev.James Trump officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Kennedy Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
