Obituary

Mrs. Pearl Osborne of 21 Grand St.,Belle Vernon,died Friday,March 26,1965,at 10:45 a.m. in Montefiore Hospital,Pittsburgh.  Mrs. Osborne was born in Independence,Va.and had resided in Belle Vernon the past 30 years.She was a member of Speers St. A.M.E. Church,Belle Vernon;member of the Stewardess Board and president of the Senior Missionary Society of the Church.  She also belonged to the Ideal Embroidery Club of Belle Vernon. Preceded in death by her husband,Coy Osborne,she is survived by 10 children,Wayman and Herman,at home;Samuel,of Pricedale,Lonnie and Mrs. Jake (Bessie) Woods,of Pittsburgh,Dwight,of Washington,D.C.,William Walter of Seattle,Wash.,Mrs. John (Rose) Calahan,in the state of Ohio,Mattie Marie,of New York City and Mabel,at home. Also surviving are 25 grandchildren;15 great-grandchildren and a sister-in-law,Mrs. Mattie Osborne who made her home with the deceased. Friends are being received at the A.M.E. Church,Speer St.in Belle Vernon,where a service will take place Tuesday,March 30,at 1 p.m. in charge of the Rev. Christine Giles,pastor.  Interment,Belle Vernon Cemetery.  Beverly C. Draper,of Monessen,funeral director.
