Obituary

Pearl Leavor,82,of Belle Vernon,died Saturday,June 3,1995,in Frick Health Center,Mount Pleasant,after a short illness. Born Nov.30,1912,in Donora,she was a daugher of the late Fred Jackson and Alice Hartman Glover. Mrs.Leavor was a member of Holy Resurrection Orthodox Church,Lynnwood. She was preceded in death by her first husband,John Clarence Kuhn,in 1970,her second husband,John Leavor,in 1994,and one grandson. Survivors include two daughters,Laura Wargo of Georgia and JoAnn Sokol of Smithton R.D.,two stepsons,Harry M.Leavor of Monongahela and John R.Leavor of Belle Vernon R.D.5,one stepdaughter,Mrs.Edward (Joan) Mandak of North Braddock,11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Friends will be received Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m.and Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.in the Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home,Fayette City. Divine Liturgy will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m.in Holy Resurrection Orthodox Church,Lynnwood,with the Rev.John Kluchko officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Parastas service will be held Monday at 8 p.m.in the funeral home. The Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
