Obituary

Pauline S. Venneri Bashada, 75, of North Belle Vernon, died Saturday, February 23, 2008, at 11:54 a.m. in Mon Valley Hospital, Carroll Township. Born August 11, 1932, in Belle Vernon, she was the daughter of the late James and Edith Spadafore Venneri. A lifelong resident of Belle Vernon, Mrs. Bashada was a member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church, Belle Vernon, and a 30-year member of the Anita Garibaldi Society of Belle Vernon. She was a retired clerk from the former Hills Department Store. Survivors include her husband of 53 years, Michael G. Bashada Jr., a son and daughter-in-law, Stephen and Angela Bashada, of Loveland, Ohio, two daughters and a son-in-law, Tina Tatsch, of Belle Vernon, and Susan and James Boland, of Lawrenceville, Ga., one brother and sister, Lewis A. Venneri and Lorraine Venneri, both of Belle Vernon, five grandchildren, Stephen Bashada, Michelle, Meghan and Michael Boland, and Justin Tatsch, and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Edward Tatsch. Visitation will be held Monday, February 25, from 7 to 9 p.m. at the LEONARD J. PARZYNSKI FUNERAL HOME, family owned and operated, 626 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon (724-929-6183). Prayer Service will be held Tuesday, February 26, at 9:30 a.m. in the funeral home, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Sebastian R.C. Church with the Rev. Lawrence L. Manchas, pastor, as celebrant. Interment will take place in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
