Pauline (Stayer) Krivda;76;of R.D.1 Fayette City (Gillespie) died Monday;May 23;1994;at 5 a.m.in Mon Valley Hospital following a lengthy illness. She was born Sept.14;1917;in Charleroi;a daughter of the late Joseph and Anna Koval Stayer. She was a member of the Holy Spirit Roman Catholic Church;Fayette City. Survivors include one son;David Krivda of Sharon;two daughters;Mrs.Bernard (Monica) Gdula of Irwin and Valerie Nicknadarvich of Woodbridge;Va.;seven grandchildren;one great-grandchild;three sisters;Anna Stayer and Mary Babich;both of R.D.1 Fayette City and Margaret Krempasky of Warren;Ohio. In addition to her parents;she was preceded in death by her husband;August Krivda;on April 12;1972. Friends will be received in the Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home;Fayette City;on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.and Wednesday until 1 p.m.when a prayer service will be held in the funeral home;followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 1:30 p.m.in the Holy Spirit Catholic Church;Fayette City;with the Rev.Richard E.Mackiewicz as celebrant. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. A parish Rosary will be recited Tuesday at 3 p.m.in the funeral home. The Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangemetns.
