The body of Paul Yusko,17 years old,of Fairhope,a student in Washington Township High School,was recovered at 3 o'clock Tuesday morning,July 11,1939 from the Monongahela River near Fayette City. Fairhope fireman,who had been dragging the river,found the body. The body had drifted downstream about 60 feet.The search was started when the youth's clothing was found,well hidden between two rocks along the river bank,about a mile below Fayette City. The boy had left home Sunday afternoon after borrrowing an inner tube from a neighbor with the statement he was going to the river to swim. He was unablr to swim but went into the water to escape the heat. The fatality occurred between Naomi mine and old Tremont tipple.He was the son of Mr. and Mrs.Michael Yusko. He is also survived by three brothers and three sisters.
