Obituary

Paul Thurman Reppert,85,of 3911 Kernstown Court,Fairfax,Va.,died on Sunday,Nov.25,2000, after a lingerin illness. He was born on Feb. 14, 1915, in Belle Vernon, a son of deceased Paul Curtis Zundel Reppert and Emma Myrtle Zundel Reppert. Mr. Reppert was a graduate of Belle Vernon High School. He was a member of the Centeville United Methodist Church. 823 Old National Pike, Brownsville, for the past 38 years, where he served as a trustee and on the administrative board for many years. He was also a past member and officer of Deemston Grange No. 1372. Mr. Reppert loved the outdoors and his farm, Reppert's Ranch, were he resided for 35 years. He was an avid sportsman, formerly belonging to the Waynesburg Beagle Club, Webster Beagle Club and the New Eagle Beagle Club, winning many ribbons and trophies. He Twas a loving family man.  His wife, children, grandchildren and siblings were the light of his life. He was self-employed, with his brother Frank, at Reppert Heating Co. in Belle Vernon. On Dec. 29, 1943, he married Geraldine Louise Helman, who survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Barbara Jeane Reppert of E. Falmouth, Mass, and Carole Ann Wilson of Fairfax. Va., two grandchildren, Shawn Michael Wilson of Athens, Ga., and Jessica Lynn Wilson of Fairfax, Va.; one sister, Edna Grace Wilkinson of Belle Vernon; four brothers, John Alfred, James Franklin and Ernest Edward Reppert of Belle Vernon and Charles Willis Reppert of Waynesville, Mo.; and several nieces and nephews. Deceased are his aunt, Edna Lulu Reppert, who raised him; two sisters, Betty Doris Mutich and Emma Joan Rach; two brothers, Howard Michael Reppert and Donald Earl Reppert; and his beloved grandson, Jamie Paul Wilson. A memorial will be held at the Centerville United Methodist Church at a later date. Memorial gifts to the church would be greatly appreciated by the family.
