Obituary

Paul Pasterick, 74,1134 Marelda Ave.,Donora,died at his home Monday,Jan. 27,1964,at 8:35 p.m. after a week's illness.  He was born in Voykova, Poland,Aug. 17,1889 and had resided in Donora since 1907. He rerired in 1954 from the boiler house of the blooming mill dept. of American Steel and Wire Division.  He was a member of St. Michael's Byzantine Catholic Church,Donora;Russian Brotherhood Organization of the U.S.A.,Lodge 31 and American Rusin Political and Beneficial Society,Donora. His wife,Mary,preceded him in death in 1949. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Theodore (Anne) Oslowski of Donora;three sons, John of North Charleroi,Michael and Paul,both of Donora and 13 grandchidlren. Friends will be received at the Paul Macik Funeral Home,Donora,after 7 p.m. Jan. 28.  Blessing service there Friday,Jan. 31,at 9 a.m. followed by Requiem High Mass at 9:30 a.m. in St. Michael's Byzantine Catholic Church, Donora.  The Rev. Sergius Bachovsky will officiate.  Interment in Belle Vernon Cemetery.  Parastas service at the funeral home Thursday,Jan. 30 at 8 p.m. Paul Macik,funeral director.
