Obituary

Paul Michalski,74,died at the home of his son,John,in Fairhope,on Tuesday,Aug.13,1957,at 4 p.m. He was born in Poland on Jan.15,1883. A coal miner by trade,he last worked at Pittsburgh Coal Co.mine in Pricedale. He retired in 1947. He was a member of the United Mine Workers of America. He belonged to St.Edward's Roman Catholic Church in Fayette City,and was fraternally affiliated with the Polish Roman Catholic Union of America,of Bentleyville. Survivors include three sons,Adam and John,both of Fairhope,and Michael,of New York City,a daughter,Mrs.William (Martha) Raymond,of Pittsburgh,and three grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Ferguson Funeral Home in Belle Vernon between hours of 1 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m.until Friday,Aug.16,when blessing services will be held at the funeral home at 9 a.m.,followed by Requiem Mass at St.Edward's R.C.Church in Fayette City,with Rev.Charles Ribick officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Shelby Ferguson is the funeral director.
