Obituary

Paul Kurpiel (Kurpnel), 69 of 923 Hill St., Belle Vernon, died Wednesday,Nov.28,1962, at his late home. He retired two years ago from the oil well tubing department of the Allenport plant of Pittsburgh Steel Co. Mr. Kurpiel was a member of the Polish National Alliance lodge of Monessen. Born in Poland on Sept. 29, 1893, he had been a resident of Belle Vernon for 44 years. Surviving are his widow, Mary Mustybrook Kurpiel, one son, John Kurpiel of Perryopolis, one daughter, Mrs. Miller (Anne) Savage of Belle Vernon, three brothers in Poland, one sister in Poland and one sister, Mrs. John (Mary) Caban of Belle Vernon and one grandchild, Mrs. Madeline Clark of Hollywood, Calif. Friends will be received at the Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral Home,Belle Vernon,after 7 p.m.Nov.29. Services on Saturday,Dec.1 in St.Sebastian's R.C.Church,Belle Vernon,at 10 a.m.with the Rev.Andrew King,pastor,officiating. Interment,Belle Vernon Cemetery. Shelby D.Ferguson,funeral director.
