Paul Kowell Jr.;62;of Monessen;died Sunday;July 3;1994;in Mon Valley Hospital;Carroll Township. Mr.Kowell was born Oct.23;1931;in Monessen;a son of the late Paul Kowell Sr.and Mary Waytovich Kowell. He was a retired employee of Frank L.Irey Jr.;Inc. Mr.Kowell was a Russian Orthodox by faith. In addition to his parents;he was also preceded in death by a daughter;Terri Ann Kowell. Surviving are his wife;Evelyn Dodaro Kowell;one daughter;Paula Kowell at home;one sister;Mrs.John (Anna Mae) Kerr of Monessen;and two brothers;Austin Kowell of Emporium and Joseph Kowell of Fayette City. Friends will be received Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.in the Robert A.Billick Funeral Home Inc.;Grand Boulevard and Marion Avenue;Monessen. A Parastas Service will be held Tuesday at 8:30 p.m.in the funeral home. A Blessing Service will be held Wednesday at 1:30 p.m.in the funeral home;followed by Requiem Services at 2 p.m.in St.John the Divine Russian Orthodox Church;Monessen;with the Rev.John Porosky officiating. Emtombment will be in the Mausoleum of Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Robert A.Billick Funeral Home Inc.is handling arrangements.
