Obituary

Paul Knaus, 59, of Fayette Rd., Belle Vernon R. D. No. 3, died in Charleroi-Monessen Hospital on Tuesday,Aug. 13, 1957, at 11:30 p. m. He had been employed at the Monessen Works of Pittsburgh Steel Co. for 30 years. He was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose, No. 209, Belle Vernon, S.N. P. J. Lodge, and the Croatian Club all of Monessen. He is survived by his wife,Mary, a son, Robert, of Cicero,ILL, two daughters. Mrs. Edward (Florence) Petros, and Mrs. Frank (Mildred) Mazzei, both of Belle Vernon R. D.,two brothers, Frank, of Cleveland, O., and Stanko in Yugoslavia, a sister, Mrs.Frank Supanick, of Cleveland, and six grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Toner Funeral Home in Belle Vernon,between the hours of 1 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m.,until Saturday,Aug.17,1957,at 10 a.m.,when Requiem Mass will be heard in St.Sebastian's R.C.Church in Belle Vernon,with Rev.Henry Hause in charge. The interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Harold R.Toner is the funeral director.
