Paul Kissell Jr. of 112 Marion Ave.,Belle Vernon (Fairhope) died Thursday, Dec. 30,1982 at 10:45 a.m. in Jefferson Center. He was 63. Mr. Kissell was born July 17,1919 in Fairhope, a son of the late Paul Sr. and Rose Ashley Kissell. He was a member of Marion Presbyterian Church, Belle Vernon American Legion, Monessen AARP and the Mon Valley Steppers. Mr. Kissell retired Jan. 1,1978,as a foreman in the strip mill of the Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp,Allenport plant. He was a veteran of World War II,haaving served as a First Sergeant in the U. S. Army. Survivors include his widow, Lorraine Andercheck Kissell; two sons, John Paul Kissell of Belle Vernon and Timothy N. Kissell of Akron,Ohio; two daughters, Mrs. Raymond (Cheryl) Kramer of Belle Vernon and Mrs. Ron (Melanie) Nakawatase of Glendale, Calif.;two sisters, Mrs. Betty Bonini of Belle Vernon and Mrs. Joan Ottino of Smithton; six grandchldren and his mother and father-in-law, John and Ann Andercheck of Monessen. Friends will be received in the Shelby D. Ferguson Funeral Home,700 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon,Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.,where funeral services will be held on Sunday,Jan. 2,at 1:30 p.m. with the Rev. Mary Howard,pastor of Marion Presbyterian Church,and Rev. Earl Lehman,pastor of the First Baptist Church of Monessen, officiating. Private burial services will follow. If friends wish, in lieu of flowers they may make memorial contributions to Community Ambulance Service, Washington Twp. Shelby D. Ferguson,funeral director, is in charge of arrangements.
