Obituary

Paul Joseph Klisowski Sr.,70,of 847 Hill St.,Belle Vernon,died Wednesday,Sept.13,1961,at 9:20 p.m. in Charleroi-Monessen Hospital. Born in Galicia,Poland,Nov.25,1890,he came to Belle Vernon 45 years ago. He was retired from the Allenport plant of Pittsburgh Steel Co.in 1955 after 42 years of service. Mr.Klisowski was a member of St.Sebastian R.C.Church,Belle Vernon,was past president of the Polish National Alliance Group 2429,Belle Vernon,was a member of Polish National Alliance Group 1146,Monessen and a member of the Citizens Association of Pricedale. Surviving are three sons,Charles of Belle Vernon,a member of North Belle Vernon Council,John of Belle Vernon and Paul Joseph Jr.of Charleroi,a daughter,Mrs.Lloyd (Nellie) Amprim,with whom he made his home and 7 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife,Katherine,April 21,1960. Friends will be received at the Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral Home,Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon,after 7 p.m.,Sept.14. Funeral services will be held on Saturday,Sept.16,at 10 a.m. from St.Sebastian R.C.Church,Belle Vernon,with the Rev.Andrew King officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
