Obituary

Paul E.Flantz,61,division superintendent of the Tube Mills,Pittsburgh Steel Co.,Allenport plant,died Friday,June 25,1985,at 9:45 a.m. in Charleroi-Monessen Hospital. He lived at 108 Orchard Ave.,Belle Vernon. Born in McKeesport,Nov.17,1903,he was a member of the Presbyterian Church of Charleroi. He belonged to Ellwood City Lodge 599 Free and Accepted Masons,Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite,Valley of New Castle,Syria Temple,Pittsburgh,Mon Valley Caravan 17 of Syria. He was a member of the Association of Iron and Steel Engineers and of Nemacolin Country Club. Surviving are his widow,Grayce Harris Flautz,a daughter,Mrs.Don S.(Barbara) Morgan,Speers Hill,four grandchildren. Friends are being received at the Harold L.Schrock Funeral Home,Charleroi,from 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m.,June 26,and from 12 to 4 and 7 to 10 p.m.,June 27. Funeral services will be held Monday,June 28,at 2 p.m. from the funeral home,with the Rev.Francis M.Blair,pastor of Charleroi Presbyterian Church,officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. In lieu of flowers,contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. Harold L.Schrock,funeral director.
