Paul E.Stefanick;50;Fayette City R.D.1;died at 11:30 p.m. Saturday;August 7;1971;in the back yard of his home. He was born in Fayette City July 1;1921. He was a member of Holy Spirit R.C.Church of Fayette City. He was employed at the Allenport Plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp. and had served with the U.S.Army during World War II. He was a member of Brightwell-Daugherty American Legion Post 484 of Fayette City. He is survived by his widow;Theresa Lovich Stefanick;a son;Paul J.;and a daughter;Barbara Ann;both at home;five brothers;John Swetz of Norwalk;Conn.;Joseph Swetz of Bronx;N.Y.;Andrew Swetz of Dover;N.J.;Michael Stefanick of Belle Vernon;and Andrew Stefanick of Fayette City;seven sisters;Sophia Swetz of Gowanda;N.Y.;Mrs.Betty Rysz of Saddlebrook;N.J.;Mrs.Mary Danko of Latrobe;Mrs.Susan Stonfer of Charleroi;Mrs.Anna Nemish of Donora;Mrs.Margaret Macko of Fayette City;and Mrs.Sophia Murin of Monessen. Friends are being received at Howard McCrory Funeral Home;Fayette City;where a wake service will be held at 7:30 p.m.Tuesday;and a prayer service at 9:30 a.m.Wednesday;followed by a 10 a.m. Requiem High Mass at Holy Spirit R.C.Church with the Rev.Joseph Tamilowski officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
