Obituary

Paul A. Bitonti, 64, of Canonsburg, formerly of Belle Vernon, died Friday, June 30,1995, in his home following a lengthy illness. He was born Dec. 22,1930, in Belle Vernon, a son of the late Sam and Mary Speen Bitonti. He was a 1960 graduate of the West Virginia University School of Engineering, where he received a degree in mechanical engineering. He received a professional engineering license. Since 1976, he was the president and owner of Pennsylvania Controls Co. in Meadowlands. He was an entrepreneur and inventor with seven patents, including the Wagonmaster, a vehicle monitoring system. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. Survivors include his wife, Georgia Ann Hall Bitonti, whom he married March 25, 1995, one step-daughter, Becky Ann Hall, at home, one sister, Mrs. Paul (Anna) Adametz of Belle Vernon, and three brothers, Joseph P. Bitonti of Belle Vernon, Frank Bitonti of Cleveland, and Samuel M. Bitonti of Belle Vernon. Friends will be received Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Joseph P. Salandra Funeral Home, 304 West Pike St.,Canonsburg. Friends will meet at St.Sebastian Church,Belle Vernon,for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m.Monday with the Rev.John Cindric,pastor,as celebrant. Burial in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Joseph P. Salandra Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
