Obituary

Patsy Zimmaro of 412 Perry Ave.,Belle Vernon,died suddenly at Mon Valley Hospital,Friday,Aug.1,1986 at 2:35 p.m. He was born Sept.18,1926 in Monessen,a son of the late Frank and Julia Marrotta Zimmaro. Mr.Zimmaro was a member of the Holy Spirit Roman Catholic Church,Fayette City. He was a member of the Eagles,VFW Post 1190 and the Mutual Aid,all of Monessen. He was also a member of the Belle Vernon Moose and American Legion. He was employed at the Monessen Plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel and was an Army veteran of the Korean War. Besides his parents,he was preceded in death by his wife,Mae on Dec.2,1982,three brothers,ALbert Vizza and James and Guido Zimmaro,and two sisters,Theresa Vizza and Carmella Orlandi. Survivors include one daughter,Mrs.Charles (Mary Lou) Shepler of Belle Vernon,one brother,Albert Zimmaro of Monessen,two sisters,Mrs.Mary Danielle and Mrs.Josephine D'Alfonso,both of Monessen,and two grandchildren,Kenneth and Mark Shepler. Friends will be received Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m.and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.in the Ferguson Funeral Home,700 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon,where a prayer service will be held Monday at 9:15 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at the Holy Spirit Roman Catholic Church,Fayette City with Father Thomas G.Rinn as celebrant. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Funeral director Shelby D.Ferguson is in charge of the arrangements.
