Patsy Zimmaro of 412 Perry Ave.;Belle Vernon;died suddenly at Mon Valley Hospital;Friday;Aug.1;1986 at 2:35 p.m. He was born Sept.18;1926 in Monessen;a son of the late Frank and Julia Marrotta Zimmaro. Mr.Zimmaro was a member of the Holy Spirit Roman Catholic Church;Fayette City. He was a member of the Eagles;VFW Post 1190 and the Mutual Aid;all of Monessen. He was also a member of the Belle Vernon Moose and American Legion. He was employed at the Monessen Plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel and was an Army veteran of the Korean War. Besides his parents;he was preceded in death by his wife;Mae on Dec.2;1982;three brothers;ALbert Vizza and James and Guido Zimmaro;and two sisters;Theresa Vizza and Carmella Orlandi. Survivors include one daughter;Mrs.Charles (Mary Lou) Shepler of Belle Vernon;one brother;Albert Zimmaro of Monessen;two sisters;Mrs.Mary Danielle and Mrs.Josephine D’Alfonso;both of Monessen;and two grandchildren;Kenneth and Mark Shepler. Friends will be received Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m.and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.in the Ferguson Funeral Home;700 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon;where a prayer service will be held Monday at 9:15 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at the Holy Spirit Roman Catholic Church;Fayette City with Father Thomas G.Rinn as celebrant. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Funeral director Shelby D.Ferguson is in charge of the arrangements.
