She was born Dec.9;1936;in McKeesport;a daughter of the late Howard M.and Jean Rae Swartz. Mrs.Marchewka was a member of the First United Methodist Church;Belle Vernon. Surviving are her husband;Walter Marchewka;four sons;Stephen Marchewka of Dayton;Ohio;Walter Marchewka of Jacksonville;Fla.;and Joel Paul and Shawn Aric Marchewka;both at home;two daughters;Mrs.Leslie (Karen Lynn) Gauden of Belle Vernon and Mrs.James (Laurie) Gwynn of Fellsburg;five grandchildren;two brothers;Howard Swartz Jr.of Providence;R.I.;and Dale R.Swartz of San Diego;Calif.;and one sister;Mrs.Bernard (Emily J.)Tkac of Floreffe. Friends will be received Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Ferguson Funeral Home Inc.;700 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon;where services will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. with the Rev.Dr.Thomas St.Clair officiating.
