Patricia Ann Galen Russo; 76; of Speers; died Saturday; July 24; 2004; in the Washington County Health Center. A daughter of the late William and Ann Tucker Galen; she was born in Belle Vernon on Dec. 11; 1927. Formerly of Belle Vernon; she had resided in Speers since 1963. Mrs. Russo was a former member of the First Baptist Church of Belle Vernon and; along with her husband; had owned and operated Russo’s Roller Rink in Belle Vernon years ago. Survivors include one daughter; Susan Russo Broman of Hanover; three sons and two daughters-in-law; Gene and Andrea Russo of Fallowfield Township; Michael Russo of Charleroi and Mark and Ramona Russo of Rostraver Township; six grandchildren; David Prokell; Justin; Michael Jr.; Caitlin and Tina Russo and Jennifer Dusick; and one sister; Joyce McKeever of Port St. Lucie; Fla. In addition to her parents; she was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years; Eugene V. Russo; on July 23; 2002; one sister; Jeanne Blair; and one brother; William Galen. Friends will be received Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME INC. and CREMATION SERVICE; (724-929-5300); a Golden Rule Member Firm; 700 Broad Ave.; Belle Vernon. Funeral services will be in the funeral home on Tuesday; July 27; at 1 p.m. with Pastor Jeffrey Anthony officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
