Patricia A Grunwald; 71 of Monessen; PA; passed away Saturday; March 3; 2012 in the emergency room at Mon Valley Hospital Inc..

She was born July 25; 1940 in Uniontown; PA; a daughter of the late Andrew Rekrut and the late Elizabeth Earnestine Rekrut. She was a graduate from St. Johns Catholic School in Uniontown and also from the Shadyside School of Nursing. She was a member of Epiphany of Our Lord Roman Catholic Church; Monessen;Pa. Patty was retired from nursing having worked for Dr.’s Dent; Connelly; Crudo and Solan all from Fayette City.

She is survived by her husband Thedore (Ted) Grunwald; sister; Betty Onesko of the state of California; Aunt Dolores Rekrut of Keisterville;Pa.; brother-in-law Frank Grunwald of Belle Vernon; five sister-in-law’s; Elizabeth Peduti of Marianna; Helen Brautigam of Monessen; Rose Galaski of Monessen; Marge Grant & husband Gary of Belle Vernon and Frances Grunwald of Belle Vernon. Loving Aunt to Vanessa Hartwell;Joseph and Beth Grunwald. Also survived by many numerous nieces and nephews.

Interment will follow in the Belle Vernon Cemetery; Belle Vernon Pa. Parish wake service Tuesday evening in the funeral home.
