The body of Oscar (Red) Bohy,45,of Fairhope,was discovered in his automobile Tuesday morning,July 12,1938,at 6:30 o'clock by Joseph Hayju,a WPA worker,who was on his way to his employment. The car was parked in the Fairhope picnic grounds,officers said. The man had been missing from his home since Monday afternoon. Mr. Bohy was seated,slumped over in the auto,with a rubber hose in his mouth,which ran through the floor of the car to the exhaust pipe,it is reported. The motor of the car was not running although the ignition was turned on. The victim of the alleged rash act was said to have been despondent. He was a roller in the former Monessen tin mill,but had been unemployed for some months. He also is said to have assisted in the burial of his mother at Monessen last Saturday. The body was removed to a funeral home in Monessen to be prepared for burial. Surviving are his wife, Anna Hunter Bohy,one daughter Frances and a son David. Funeral services will be held Friday,July 15,at 2 p.m. at his home in Fairhope.
