Oscar Eugene McWilliams;R.D.3;Ridge Road;Belle Vernon;died Saturday;Sept.22;1984 at 3:45 a.m.in the Veterans Hospital;Pittsburgh. He was 55. Mr.McWilliams was born in Monessen on Dec.11;1928;a son of the late Oscar McWilliams and Mildred McWilliams who survives and resides in Monessen. He was a self employed auto body mechanic and resided in Belle Vernon for the past 22 years. He was a member of the Antioch Baptist Church in Belle Vernon;a member of the Legion Post 695;William E.Owen Lodge;Donora;and the Mapleview Lodge Post 780 in Elizabeth. In addition to his mother;he is surived by his former wife;Betty McWilliams Flythe of Aspinwall;two sons;Eugnene McWillims of Monessen and Thomas McWilliams of Morgantown;W.Va.;six brothers;Edward McWilliams of Detroit;Mich;Eugene (Geno) McWilliams of Donora;Clark;Earl and Allen McWilliams;all of New York City;;N.Y.and Lonnie McWilliams of Monessen;three sisters;Juanita Mable McWilliams Square of Hempstead;N.Y.;Lorraine McWilliams Milliner of New York City;N.Y.;and Cheryl Ann McWilliams Wade of Monessen;four grandchildren and a host of nieces;nephews;relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his brother;Shelby McWilliams;1956 and by a grandson;Thomas Robinson;1976. Friends will be received at the William R.Taylor Funeral Home;McMahon Ave.;Monessen;on Monday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be held at the Mt.Calvary Baptist Church;Monessen;on Tuesday at 11 a.m. with the Rev.Luther Wormack;pastor ot the Antioch Baptist Church;officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The William R.Tayor Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
