Orvin C. Baker, aged 68 years, died Monday morning, November fourth at 2 o'clock in the Memorial hospital, Monongahela. He had been ailing for some time, suffering of a heart ailment. His condition became critical early Monday morning and he was removed to the hospital, where he died shortly after being admitted. Mr. Baker has been a resident of Monessen since the time of the founding of the city. He was employed at the Monessen Foundry & Machine company until the time of his retirement. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs, Harry C. Gribben, of this city, a sister, Miss Sara Baker, of Boston, Mass., and two brothers, Roy, Coral Gables, of Florida, and Glenn, of Beallsville. Ten grandchildren and one grea-grandchild also survive. Friends are being received at the Harper Memorial Chapel,where funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon,November 6 at 2 o'clock with Dr. Ted V. Voorhees,of the Methodist Church,officiating.
