Oren Vincent Foor;86;of Irons Street;Gibsonton;died Monday;Dec.20;2000;in Mon Valley Hospital. He was born Jan.24;1914;a son of the late Seibert and Rockie Clapper Foor. He attended the Monessen Congregation of the Jehovah’s Witnesses. He retired in 1979 as a shovel operator at the Gibsonton yard of Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel Corp.after 45 years of service. In addition to his parents;he was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years;IdaBell V.Lewis Foor;on Sept.1;1990;a son;Gerald Foor of Chicago;two brothers;Maynard Foor of Belle Vernon;and Lester Foor of Everett;and two sisters;Winona Pockman of Jacksonville;Fla.;and Violet Weist of Graceville;Pa. Friends will be received Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME INC.;700 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon;where funeral services will be held on Friday at 11 a.m.;with Mr.Fred Sementa;nephew of Mr.Foor;officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The family suggests memorial contributions to the Jehovah’s Witnesses Relief Fund;in care of any local Jehovah’s Witnesses congregation.
