Mrs. Arelia E. Jordan,wife of Charles Jordan, died Thursday evening,January 20,1910 at 7:15 o'clock at her home on Schoonmaker avenue of stomach trouble after an illness of about two months. She was aged 55 years. The deceased was well and favorably known among the French people of town and her kindly disposition was responsible for a large circle of devoted friends. She came to town with her husband from McDonald about eleven years ago,and was a native of France. A grown family of children survive her together with the husband. They are Mrs. Bertha Falson of Parkersburg,W.Va.,Mrs. Mamie Monack,of this place,and Jule,of this place,Charles of Clarksburg,W.Va.,and Harry of Belle Vernon. The funeral will occur Sunday afternoon at three o'clock at the late home and Rev. H.O. MacDonald will officiate. Interment will be made in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
