Obituary

Oliver C. Williams, aged 64 years, of 100 First street,Charleroi, died Tuesday night, November 19,1935 at 9:30 o'clock, in the Torrence hospital after a short illness. He had been ill for the past six weeks,and on Tuesday his condition became such that he was removed to the hospital and he died a few hours later.  He was born March 16, 1871, in South Wales.   While in Monessen,Mr.Williams was employed for many years as superintendent of the cold roll department of the American Sheet & Tin Plate company.  They left Monessen to reside in Bellaire,Ohio,and about six years ago located in Charleroi,where they have since resided.  Surviving are his wife, Mrs.Sarah Williams, a daughter Mrs. Anna May Grey, of Pricedale, three sons, Cadiver of Ohio, Reginald, of Woodlawn, and Valentine, at home. Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Frye funeral parlors. Burial will be made in the Belle Vernon Cemetery.  Rev. Byron Mahan,of the First Christian Church, will be in charge of the service.
