Oliver Baumgardner,87,of 209 Rear Connellsville St.,Fayette City,formerly of Perryopolis,died Friday,March 17,1967, in Frick Community Hospital,Mount Pleasant. He was a retired coal miner. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Robert (Kathleen) Smith of Chester,Pa,and Mrs. Harry (Carmella) Lahti of Belle Vernon; four sons, James of Fayette City,Charles of Denbo,Lawrence of Johnstown and Arthur of Daly City, Calif., a brother, James and a sister, Mrs. Jessie Hull,both of South Fork;25 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Harold R.Toner Funeral Home,Belle Vernon,from 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m.beginning at 7 p.m.,March 18. Services will be held Monday,March 20 at 2 p.m. from the funeral home,with the Rev. William D. Barber officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Harold R.Toner,funeral director.
