Obituary

Olga M. Lori Agamedi, 95, of Carroll Township, died at 9 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 20, 2002, at Residence at Hilltop in Carroll Township. Born Aug. 6, 1907, in Belle Vernon, she was a daughter of the late Carlo and Palmira Giovanni Lori. Mrs. Agamedi was a resident of Carroll Township for the past five years, having previously resided in Charleroi and Belle Vernon. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Charleroi and retired as a secretary from the former Fox Grocery in Charleroi and Rostraver Township. Mrs. Agamedi was a longtime volunteer at Mon Valley Hospital and a member of the Annita Garibaldi Society of Belle Vernon. The last surviving member of her immediate family, she is survived by one niece, Doris Azevedo, and five nephews, J. Robert, Donald and Daniel Ondulick, and Charles and James Lori. Mrs. Agamedi was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Agamedi, in July 1960, three sisters, Milthia Flora, Agnes Ondulick and Dorothy Lori, and two brothers, Attilio and Bruno Lori. Visitation will be held Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the LEONARD J. PARZYNSKI FUNERAL HOME, Family Owned and Operated, 626 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon. Services will be held Friday, Aug. 23, in the funeral home at 10:30 a.m. with the Rev. Bruce Northey, pastor of First United Methodist Church, Charleroi, officiating. Interment will take place in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
