Nunzio Mario Colecchi;73;formerly of Monessen;died in the Oakland Naval Hospital;Oakland;Calif.;Monday;Oct.14;1963. Mr.Colecchi had formerly lived on Third St.in Monessen. He had been a member of the Italian Society of Mutual Aid of Monessen and at one time was employed by the city of Monessen. He was retired from this latter position. His wife;Bertha Soupley Colecchi;died in 1928. Surviving are two sons;William in the U.S.Army;and Robert of San Pahlo;Calif.;one daughter;Bertha Mae Deyo of San Pablo;fve grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Edwin Melenyzer Funeral Home;Monessen;after 1 p.m.Oct.17. Service there Friday;Oct.18;at 9 a.m.followed at 9:30 a.m.by Requiem Mass in St.Cajetan’s R.C.Church of Monessen. The Rt.Rev.Msgr.Nunzio Pirulli;pastor;will officiate.
