Obituary

The body of Norman C. Schmidt,aged 24,well known and popular young man of Belle Vernon,son of Mr.and Mrs. John Schmidt of the Central Hotel,Main street,who died Friday morning,July 18,1924,at Gillette,Wyoming of cerebral hemorrhage arrived at the home of his parents Monday morning,September 24,1924.  The deceased,who a month ago sold his interest in the Central restaurant and went West for his health,was born in Gibsonton,and practically has lived all his life in Belle Vernon,where he enjoyed a wide circle of friends.  For the past three years he has been failing in health.  His father was notified of the sudden death of the son and left immediately to take charge of the remains and accompanied  the body back home. Besides his parents he is survived by two sisters,Mrs.Wilfred Easton,of 614 Fallowfield avenue,and Miss Kathryn Schmidt,at home,and two brothers, Henry J.,and John Schmidt at home.  Funeral services will take place Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock from his late home with interment in the Belle Vernon Cemetery.
