Norman C. "Boots" Biagini,61,of 911 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon,died Thursday,Jan.14,1993,at 12:42 p.m.,at Mercy Hospital,Pittsburgh,as a result of injuries sustained in an accident. He was born March 12,1931,in McKeesport,a son of the late Bruno Biagini and Eleanora Anderson Biagini,who survives and resides in Belle Vernon. Mr. Biagini was a lifelong resident of Belle Vernon,. He was Protestant by faith. He was employed as a stone and brick mason out of Local 11 Bricklayers Union of Washington,Pa. He was employed through the local for the past 45 years. A veteran of the Korean Conflict,he served with the U.S. Army where he had achieved the rank of corporal. Mr. Biagini was a member of the F&AM Lodge 643 of Belle Vernon,as well as the Belle Vernon Moose Lodge and Belle Vernon American Legion Post 659. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife,Thelma McCollough Biagini;a son,Bruce Biagini,at home;a son and daughter-in-law,Lance and Barbara Dunlop Biagini of Ontario,N.Y.;a daughter,Mrs. Tim (Lori) Switzer of Chicora;two grandsons,Cody and Brock Switzer;and two sisters,Mrs. Robert N.(Joyce) Como of Monessen and Mrs. Robert (Beverly) Anderson of Edfield,Conn. Friends will be received at the Leonard J.Parzynski Funeral Home,626 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon,Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home with the Rev. James A. Higgins,pastor of Chicora Area Lutheran Church,Chicora,officiating. Interment willl be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Belle Vernon American Legion Post 659 will hold services at 7 p.m. in the funeral home,followed by F&AM Lodge 643 of Belle Vernon services at 8 p.m. The Leonard J. Parzynski Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
